Analyze the daily Final Pricing results of the New Zealand electricity market. The app downloads publicly available Final Pricing case files from the website of the Electricity Authority (New Zealand) then extracts and analyzes the data to create an interactive presentation of the official pricing solution. Case files are available for all dates back to July 2009.

The app shows how price is linked to generation changes, and displays the data (offers and constraints) that explain the generation results.

Results can be plotted to show price, generation, HVDC transfer, reserves (including reserve sharing) and capacity.

Results can be filtered to highlight risk setters, reserve sharing, frequency keepers, on/off plant, ramp constraints, capacity constraints, or the results from any specified generator.

Once a number of days have been downloaded the trends for the month can also be plotted.
